French women must be tall on average.
There is a nice make-up mirror in the bathroom of my hotel room, but I have to stand on my tip-toes to see below my nose in it. I am about 5’5” and since I’m assuming that mirror must be hung at eye-level for the “average” woman, then the average must be about 6’ here!
Update - when getting a look at people in Paris, there are quite a lot of tall, skinny women indeed!
